About Me
In the early days, I would secretly enjoy music that was perhaps outside the 'accepted genres' preferred by my peers. Oh I rocked (and still do) to almost anything with balls, but I could also recognise brilliance in 'unfashionable' sounds. I'm still the same today and enjoy music sans frontieres, except that these days, I don't care who knows it! A friend of mine once said "there's only 2 types of music - good and bad", and whilst that will always be subjective, I cannot disagree. I don't think anyone can.
Scientists now think we could sing before we could speak and I now think that this is why music is such a huge part of our lives. To live for music is to live for life. It defines us. It certainly defines me.
